Irie Vibes Store Soft Opening

This weekend we stopped in at the soft opening of Brooklyn’s newest tea, coffee and herbal element s store, Irie Vibes.

In the heart of Crown Heights a new gem has opened for tea, coffee and herbal lovers alike. A place to buy unique tea blends and natural herbs for the home.

Sitting at the corner of Utica Avenue and Montgomery Street easily accessible from local buses and a main central subway hub of Eastern Parkway

This new location is work of the brainchild Mikkell Burrowes better known as “Giz”.

One half of the duo who brought fashion reggae and rock and roll together to create the clothing line brand RockersNYC brings his newest venture Irie Vibes.

Giz returned from a long relocation in the valleys of Southern California and hills of Northern California wanted to share the blends of teas that he and his friends were purveying out in the west and bring it closer to his hometown of New York City.

From Egyptian influenced bath soaks to dried sea moss to potential Love Spells teas the store is being stocked and ready for the market. Many items are from US rapper Azealia Banks’ CheapyXO brand

You can find a coffee called Enqu Cofee from the daughter of Empress Mennen of Ethiopia. While the store had it’s soft opening and meet and greet this past Saturday the staff and crew was just putting their finishing touches on the new store.

“My brother Marcus graced us with his artwork and style you know, he put that Marcus touch on it” said Giz with Pride and joy as he also shared that his brother the other half of Rockers designed the look of the store.

You’ll even find a vintage motorcycle mostly found in Jamaica to give the store a real authentic Irie feel.

Giz was on site to welcome anyone who passed through for the soft opening and assisted the staff and with the stocking of the store.

Meanwhile his new store manager Kitty danced the afternoon away and said she is ready to help get the store’s social media page up and updated with content to help promote the upcoming grand opening.

A few friends and investors came by to see the progress that was made and had a few drinks with Giz and danced out front the store with gift bags in hand as a few new patrons stopped in to check out what was on sale. A wonderful day was had by all, and surely more is to come from this new unique herbal emporium.
